What It Means to Be a Zyra Ambassador
A Zyra Ambassador:
Advocates for educational equity by promoting access to AI-powered support for all students
Embodies innovation and purpose, sharing Zyra's mission and tools with communities and stakeholders
Acts as a peer mentor, encouraging others to use Zyra and sharing student success stories
Serves as a bridge between Zyra and schools, counselors, or students—offering feedback and amplifying impact
Ambassadors uphold Zyra's core values: Equity, Empowerment, Innovation, Accessibility, Privacy, and Human-Centered Support.
Your Role & Expectations
Core Involvement: Champion, Ideas, Leadership
As a Zyra Ambassador, you'll:
Champion the brand: Share Zyra's mission and tools with students, educators, and communities.
Contribute ideas: From product feedback to outreach strategies, your insights help shape Zyra's evolution.
Lead by example: Represent Zyra's values through integrity, initiative, and student-centered impact.
Example Responsibilities & Mini Projects
Creating TikTok or Instagram content that explains how Zyra works
Hosting peer info sessions at your school or club
Leading a "Zyra Week" challenge encouraging students to build their roadmap
Running a referral drive in a school Discord server
Providing monthly product feedback based on student usage insights
Drafting student success stories for the Zyra blog
Weekly Ambassador Meeting Expectations
A 30-minute virtual meeting each week to:
- Share updates, campaigns, and performance highlights
- Offer platform tips and best practices
- Brainstorm outreach ideas or review what's working
Attendance is strongly encouraged (recordings are available for those with schedule conflicts).
Participation in Internal Zyra Team Meetings
Occasionally, Ambassadors may be invited to join internal Zyra team meetings, such as:
- Marketing strategy calls
- Product feedback sessions
- Social media brainstorms
Participation is optional and based on interest or focus area. It's a great way to gain startup experience and help shape Zyra's development.

These bi-weekly gatherings bring all ambassadors together to:

Team Mentor Check-Ins
(Twice Per Month)
You'll be matched with a mentor from your chosen internal team. Each check-in offers:
- Project updates or new assignments tailored to your interests
- Opportunities to shadow your mentor during internal meetings
- Open Q&A on startups, careers, or any curiosity
These sessions are designed to help you grow beyond your ambassador role.

Every ambassador receives a unique tracking link.
Find it in your Rewardful dashboard once you're logged in.
How to Share Your Link Effectively
Maximize referrals by sharing your link in places students and parents actively seek college help:
Instagram Bio: "Get smart college guidance with Zyra — click here!"
TikTok Videos: Mention your link and display it via link-in-bio tools
School Group Chats or Clubs: Share with peers in student orgs, academic clubs, or college-prep groups
Discord Servers: Post in education or admissions channels
Newsletters / Email Signatures: If connected with educators or student networks
Pro Tip: Share personal success stories or favorite features for authenticity.
How Commissions Work
Commission Rate: 15% of all revenue generated through your referral link
Tracking: Rewardful automatically tracks sign-ups within a set attribution window
Payment Timeline: Paid monthly after a short holding period
Payment Method: Typically through PayPal or direct deposit (set this up in Rewardful)
What Counts as a Successful Referral
A successful referral is any user who:
Signs up for a paid Zyra plan using your referral link
Remains a paying user beyond the trial/refund period
There's no limit to how many students you can refer.
How to Track Your Earnings
Log in to your Rewardful Dashboard to see:
- Clicks and sign-ups
- Total commissions earned
- Pending and paid commissions
How You Earn Money
You receive 15% of every payment from a referred user (monthly or annual).
Recurring Earnings: Continue earning as long as they remain a paid user.
Payment Schedule: Commissions are typically paid around the 15th of each month.
Holding Period: A short (~14-day) verification window covers any refunds or chargebacks.
PayPal Setup (Under Guardian Account if Under 18)
If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian to create or use an existing verified PayPal account.
Enter this PayPal email in your Rewardful payout settings.
All payments go directly to that PayPal account.
Tax Information (If Earning $600+)
U.S.-based Ambassadors: If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, you must submit a W-9 for tax reporting.
A Form 1099-NEC will be issued at the end of the year.
Forms You Must Complete
Parental Consent Form (For Ambassadors under 18)
- Legal consent for participation and payment setup
- Download, sign, and upload via the provided link
Agreement to Terms & Conditions
- Confirms your understanding of ambassador responsibilities and rewards
Once all forms are submitted and verified, email marcelo@zyra-ai.com to receive:
- Access to your @zyra-ai.com email
- Entry into the ambassador group chat
- Activation of your Rewardful referral link

Each ambassador gets a Zyra email (first.last@zyra-ai.com). To access:
- Go to Gmail
- Log in with your assigned Zyra email and temporary password (sent to your personal email)
- Update your password upon first login
If you haven't received your login details, contact the onboarding team.
Ambassador Groupchat (Google Chat)
You'll be added to a Google Chat room for real-time collaboration.
Announcements, campaign updates, Q&A, and celebrating wins happen there.

Use approved assets: Only share visuals, messaging, or templates from your ambassador kit.
Be authentic: Share your own experience with Zyra's platform and why it matters to you.
Be respectful: Engage with students, educators, or parents courteously.
Required FTC Disclosures (Referral Links)
The Federal Trade Commission requires you to disclose you may earn money from referral links.
Add phrases like "I may earn a small commission if you sign up using my link" in captions, bios, or posts.
We provide sample wording in your digital toolkit.
Respectful Conduct & Professionalism
Represent Zyra with integrity and kindness.
Communicate professionally with the Zyra team, peers, and the public.
Honor commitments (e.g., attending events, meeting deadlines).
Ask questions and seek help—collaboration is welcomed.
What NOT To Do
Spamming: No mass DMs or excessive reposting.
Misrepresentation: Don't promise "Zyra will get you into Harvard" or guaranteed outcomes.
Inappropriate content: Avoid profanity, political arguments, or off-topic personal content on official Zyra channels.
Dishonest referrals: Never create fake signups or manipulate referral data.
